China Drives 27% Growth in Cambodia’s Trade, Hits $5.6B in Q1 2024

According to the latest report from Cambodia’s General Department of Customs and Excise, bilateral trade between Cambodia and China reached $5.637 billion in the first four months of 2024, marking a 27% increase compared to the same period last year ($4.481 billion in 2023). China remains Cambodia’s largest trading partner.

🇨🇳 Cambodia’s imports from China: $5.215 billion (up 30.5% YoY)
Investment Dominance:The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) reported that 56.2% of the $2.5 billion in approved investment projects during Q1 2024 came from China, solidifying its position as Cambodia’s top investor.
